Hi! I’m Andrea Goulet.

I help business owners like you navigate the hidden challenges of growth—bottlenecks, delegation struggles, and communication breakdowns that stall momentum.

I’ve implemented communication systems at some of the world’s biggest organizations, such as the Smithsonian Institute, the Center for Disease Control, Verizon, and many more. Businesses that are serious about scaling invest in improving their organizational communication. In my work, I’ve saved and generated hundreds of millions of dollars for my clients.

So, yes, I’ve got the high-level expertise — but I’m not some consultant who lives in an ivory tower. I have hard-won experience of bootstrapping and scaling a business myself. I’ve been where you are. I’ve gone through the growing pains. I’ve felt the fear and frustration. Taking my business from a team of 5 to a team of 20 is one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. Harder than figuring out our product/market fit. Harder than finding clients. Harder than taking the leap to start my business. I was completely unprepared for the challenges in this specific stage of growth, and it was exhausting.

I remember the 18-hour days, feeling so burned out I could hardly move. I recall not wanting to go on vacation because I felt like everything would fall apart without me. Then there were the times where I just wanted to give up. The loneliness that came with the title of CEO, the exasperation of never feeling understood even though I was repeating myself so often I thought I would go insane, the worry that I would lose my house if I couldn’t turn things around. Sound familiar?

My problem wasn’t about effort, it was about effectiveness. That’s when I realized — if I wanted to scale, I had to become a different type of leader. But when I looked around for programs that support scaling businesses, I felt alone and lost. It seemed like I was walking through a desert with no water. And I wasn’t the only one who found that an apt metaphor. So many businesses struggle at this stage that there’s even a term for it — the Valley of Death!

When you’re scaling, you have to make significant shifts. You have to change the way you lead, how your operations are organized, and how you communicate. But there just aren’t many resources to help you. “Small business” programs skew heavily towards startups. There are tons of incubators, accelerators, pitch competitions to help you figure out how to fund an idea. And there were loads of courses on becoming a better manager in the context of a big company. Traditional business training programs don’t address the critical challenges that scale-up businesses face, which just compounds the chaos.

I knew something had to be done. Small businesses are the backbone of our economy. We need to work together and help each other cross that Valley of Death. We need a place to learn about specific scale-up challenges. that provides targeted advice that calms the chaos instead of compounding it. We need a community of peers to help us go through this difficult journey so we never feel alone. We don’t need theory. We need practical, tactical, and immediately implementable tools. And while there’s definitely value from advisors who have only worked in big businesses, we need guidance from advisors who have been in the trenches and have actually scaled a business themselves.

That’s why I created Scale Without Chaos, an advisory program for small business owners and leaders who are struggling to scale. The programs I’ve created are what I wish I’d had. What's the time commitment?

Over the course of 12 months, you’ll attend bi-weekly virtual group sessions. You won’t want to miss these because it’s where you’ll get the secrets of scaling success and real-time feedback to help you grow. Outside of the calls, you’ll be spending time on your own implementing what you’ve learned.
